Saving Grace by Jane Green. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was kindly given a copy of this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This book is about a character called Grace who is married to Ted who was a best selling author. He seems to have had his day but everyone is scared to say anything negative to him because he has a bit of a temper. When we meet the characters at the start of this book we find that Grace is unhappy and seems really scared of Ted. Ted's assistant, who seemed to be the only person who could handle Ted's moods has had to leave because her mother is ill. Grace feels that she is not capable of taking over the assistants role properly. Quite by chance they come across a girl called Beth at an event that Ted and Beth attend and eventually invite her for an interview. She gets offered the job immediately but is Beth who she seems to be? After Beth arrives Grace's life spins very quickly out of control.

I am a massive Jane Green fan and have read most of her books. When I got the chance to read this one I jumped at it. What really surprised me about this book is that it is less chick lit and edges more towards psychological thriller but not quite. I absolutely loved this book. I knocked one star off because it was a little bit slow in the beginning and also, because Grace is a semi-famous cook in this novel each chapter ends with a recipe. Some people might like that but I felt like there was no need and it distracted from the story.
